Club Accreditation Awarded

The club has now received accreditation from North Lanarkshire Council

The North Lanarkshire Council Club Accreditation Scheme is a tool to ensure that clubs have appropriate structures and policies in place. Achieving Accreditation demonstrates that a club is meeting minimum operating standards and are committed to providing safe environments for all to participate in sport.

The scheme covers areas including;

  • Child Protection and Welfare
  • Coaching Qualification and Standards
  • Club Development

Club Christmas Holidays

The last training session at Airdrie Academy is 20th December and will reopen 7th January

The last training session at Caldercuix is 19th December and will reopen 9th January.

The club would like to wish all students, parents and friends a happy and peaceful Xmas and a happy new year when it comes

Colour Belt Grading

Well done to everyone who took part in last nights colour belt grading, the results will be announced shortly. Plus a big thank you to the junior black belts that helped out during the grading.

Hope for Autism

The club is delighted to be working with our partner Hope Airdrie to offer additional support needs taekwondo and fitness classes.
The classes will be Tuesdays from 4.15-5pm at Hope Airdrie’s premises in Airdrie

Summer Holidays Club Training Schedule

Airdrie Academy class is on as normal throughout the school summer holidays.

Caldercruix class is off until new school term.

There is no Thursday competition training class on during the holidays.

GMAC Competition

Congratulation to both Callum and Luke who took part in the GMAC inter club completion. They won a total of 5 medals.

This was Callum’s first taste of competition and he did really well and earned a bronze for patterns and a bronze for sparring. Luke won 3 medals, silver in sparring and a bronze for patterns and special technique.
